Passed Away

Lexi and Harley both passed away a few weeks ago on Sept. 28. While Julianne’s post stayed away from the circumstances surrounding their deaths, her brother, Derek Hough, revealed in his own Instagram tribute for the dogs that the cavalier kings met an “abrupt end.” Lexi was 11 at the time of her passing, while Harley was 8. The typical lifespan of a cavalier king is between 12 and 15 years.

Julianne received an outpouring of love and support from her friends and fans.

“Sending you all the love and good thoughts. Oh, Friend… I’m so sorry but what a beautiful tribute to them. There is no love like the unconditional love of our pets,” Mandy Moore wrote. “I love you. I love them. They are together. Forever,” hairstylist Riawna Capri added.

Rest in peace, Lexi and Harley.
