Did you think it was possible? I sure didn’t! How could Taylor Swift possibly top “ME!” or “You need to calm down.” Yet Taylor did it after releasing a new track from TS7 titled. ” The Archer” and it’s GREAT.
Guess what Swifties!! Taylor released a new track. Surprised? We are too and filled with anticipation to hear the rest of TS7. Taylor, who, need we remind, is only 29, has accomplished a lot over the years. So it’s no big surprise that fans are anxiously waiting to hear album number seven which is titled, “Lover.”
The new track was released but it was not meant to be a single. Taylor pointed out to her fans that “The Archer” was more of an emotional song that she wanted to share with the rest of the world.
During an Instagram live session, Taylor mentioned that she would be releasing four deluxe editions of her album. Each edition would contain thirty pages from her diaries. If you were to buy all four editions you would have 120 pages straight from Taylor’s personal diary pages. Sounds pretty cool right?! We can’t wait.
We already knew that Tay’s new song would be something special. Considering Taylor went all out for her first two songs. Not only did a lot of celebrity friends make cameos in her colourful video for, “You need to calm down” but Taylor even had her long term frenemy Katy Perry for one scene where they hugged it out. Other stars that appeared in the music video were Ciara, Ryan Reynolds, Ellen, and Adam Lambert. And of course, Taylor kicked off her “Lover” era by collaborating with Brendon Urie, frontman of Panic! at the disco.
Taylor is excited to welcome a new chapter of her life after all of the drama involving Scooter Braun and her past discography.
“This album in tone is very romantic,” Taylor promised of the forthcoming record. “Not just simply thematically, like it’s all love songs or something. The idea of something being romantic…it doesn’t have to be a happy song.”
