Stranger Things Season 3 Trailer. Watch Above
The wait is over. Stranger Things fans have finally gotten what they have been waiting for. On March 20, after almost a two-year wait, Netflix dropped the season 3 trailer. Season three is due to be released on July 4, later this year. Fans are eager to know what happens next to Hopper, Eleven, Mike, and the rest of the gang.
Stranger Things season three picks up in the summer of 1985. The Stranger Things kids are all grown up, the thought of everything changing is intimidating.
“We’re not kids anymore” – Mike says in the trailer.
Summertime is going to introduce the teens to the new Starcourt Mall, The Fun Fair, and the Fourth of July Celebrations. Although, threat is constantly looming in every direction. One brief scene in the trailer shows Eleven, Mike, Steve, and the rest of the crew all staring at someone or something inside the mall.
“It is important to me that you feel safe, I want you to feel like this can still be your home.” Officer Hopper says in the trailer.
The trailer gives us a glimpse of new characters, including Cary Elwes as Mayor Kline and Maya Hawke’s as Robin. Charlie Heaton shared with us during the Pre-Emmy party earlier this fall that Stranger Things season three is worth the wait. He shared that he was surprised in the direction they are taking.
“It almost feels like a different genre” He states.
Stranger Things season three will consist of eight episodes. Stay tuned for the release in early July.
